St. Louis Entertains Magazine (formerly RSVP Perfect Magazine) is looking to fill a limited number of positions for highly motivated salespeople to work on a commission-only basis selling magazine advertisements and other services related to our publication.
St. Louis Entertains Magazine is a new local special event, home entertaining, lifestyle, and party planning magazine. Each issue of ST. LOUIS ENTERTAINS MAGAZINE seeks to inspire and feature St. Louisans who strive to create beautiful and stylish environments in which to entertain and celebrate. We highlight a gracious and stylish way of life that focuses on a fulfilled and joyous life in the company of family and friends. From gift-giving to large-scale events, our magazine will be a year-round lifestyle, party planning, and entertaining guide.
Our growing publication is looking for four energetic individuals to work on a flexible schedule to sell magazine advertisements. This position offers very competitive commission rates as well as incentives and bonuses.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Past sales experience (magazine advertising sales is a plus)
- General interest in entertaining and party planning
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to meet challenging deadlines
- Familiarity with using e-mail and office computer programs
- A general understanding of the various aspects of magazine publishing
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Candidates should also be:
- Be highly self-motivated
- Be people-oriented
- Be able to travel around St. Louis
- Have access to a reliable computer with fast internet connection
