Our recipe for this Sweet Citrus Ice is similar to Italian ice, although I think the addition of orange juice really makes a delicious pairing. Click Here For the Recipe.
The September IssueJuly 14th, 2010Well, if it’s just one of those nights when you feel like ordering pizza, opening up a bottle of wine, and spending a quite and relaxing evening in front of the TV, I highly recommend you put this movie in your Netflix queue. It’s called the September Issue and is a documentary about Anna Wintour, the legendary editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine. If you are interested in fashion, magazine publishing, design, styling, or practically any area of the visual design world, you may really enjoy this movie. If you have ever seen “The Devil Wears Prada”, the “Devil” character (played by Meryl Streep) was inspired by Anna Wintour. Thanks to my friend Lisa for recommending this movie to me. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did. Delicious Cherry GlacéJuly 12th, 2010Perfect for a summer party! Preparation can’t be easier. Presentation is super easy. Guests will enjoy a delicious cold cherry dipped in yogurt.
Wash the cherries. Arrange on wax paper and put into the freezer for two hours. Put the yogurt in a container and surround with frozen cherries. Place at room temperature and wait about 10-15 minutes. The cherries should begin turning completely white. Once they are, you can serve them to your guests. They should be “frosty” for up to 1/2 an hour. Sprinkle blueberries around the cherries for a color contrast. The guests can pick up the cherries by the stem, dip them in the yogurt, and enjoy a nice frosty (and healthy) treat!
